Before the start of the Inaugural USFL Season, we were lucky enough to have met one half of the 'Bald Assassin's' Birmingham Stallions FB Bobby Holly. A once guest on our show, turned out to be more than that.
We were honored to have Holly host along side us throughout most of the Season for our Weekly Recap Shows; and lucky to have shared that defying moment on the field as he, along with his fellow Stallion teammates and we're able to hold off the Philadelphia Stars 33-30 and be able to call themselves the 2022 USFL Champions.
Since then, the smoke from the Championship celebration fireworks have settled and the confetti from Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium have been swept up. It was now time to get back to work.
Catching up with Bobby Holly, he's been doing just that. He hasn't stopped putting in the work. Training hard at local gyms across his hometown in Louisiana. He's also enjoying the quality time with family. Never saying no to a game of dominoes. But also knows that at a moment's notice the game of football can start back up, and needs to be ready.
Training 4-5 times a week. Squatting 405 and benching 315. Bobby Holly is ready for the next step in his career. He isn't sure where his football life is going to take him. One thing is for sure though; It's not a question of if, it's a question of when.
